MP backs biodiesel tax break project

Liberal Democrat MP Andrew George is backing a campaign to keep tax breaks for business who produce biodiesel.
Producers transforming cooking oil into biodiesel currently take advantage of a 20p differential but that is because of end next April.
The St Ives MP, who leads the Lib Dem Environment Team, has been satisfying with the UK sustainable biodiesel alliance.
Mr George said "a number of little organizations in Cornwall currently make money from used cooking oil".
He included: "In order to have the ability to get this type of industry going it does require just a little bit of lift which can be found in the form of tax inescapable."
Biodiesel is a mix of traditional diesel, rapeseed and vegetable oils.
